House in the country - Previous Owner had AT&T Internet Air - I can't get it

There is a AT&T device that is attached to the exterior of our new home. The previous owner said that he used the cell tower to receive internet but when I call AT&T support to get it setup, they said my house doesn't qualify for it.

AT&T used to offer something called "Fixed Wireless Internet" (FWI) which involved professional installation of an Antenna on the outside of your home and used LTE signaling.  AT&T is no longer selling that service.

AT&T is now offering "AT&T Internet Air" (AIA), which is a similar service that uses 5G, the antennas are inside the All-Fi Hub and doesn't require professional installation.  However, they're rolling it out in limited geographies, and just because your home could previously be served by FWI doesn't mean that it will be in range of the AIA service.

Does https://att.com/availability show anything for your home?  If not, you could try T-mobile or Verizon, who both have FWA offerings.  Or maybe Starlink.

Thank you. Just for anyone else reading this, T-Mobile is offering the same new service if AT&T doesn't provide it in your area.

All three of our major wireless carriers offer a product of this type.  Service availability and type depends on the area.
