Control of the wifi radios is done using the management console by accessing it via the 192.168.1.254 address.

Make sure you chose the advanced link that the top of the wifi tab under networks. you should see a drop down to turn off the radios for both 5g (Top of the page) and 2.4g (bottom of the page).
