Where did the Motorola box come from?

Was it already provision and working on a different tv in your home on your account?

Receivers have to be setup (provisioned), cannot just place a receiver onto your account.

Then the Motorola is a hardwired receiver requiring connection to the gateway using Ethernet or coax connection.

If connected properly the LINK light on the receiver should be solid on. If off, have no connection.

A service call to troubleshoot and resolve should be $99 for a tech appointment, call 800-288-2020 to schedule.

They probably didn't provision it correctly, or it arrived too soon for the provisioning to complete.  One a box tries to connect on an account it's not provisioned for it flags itself as "dirty" and you'll need the tech to come out and get it corrected in the provisioning server.

You posted this in Att Internet Air.  I assume that’s a mistake and you actually have either DSL or Fiber connection.
