Both download and upload speeds have no minimum guarantee, only an expected which many report seeing much higher.
A number of factors can influence the speed at any one moment including if connected to 5G+ or 5G or 4G LTE, the number of other devices consuming bandwidth at the cell tower, environment issues including Line Of Sight with weather conditions unclear, fog, rain, snow, heat waves, or structures including buildings, hills, trees, etc.
The speeds should be faster than DSL 25/5 and lower than direct fiber 300/300.
As stated by ATT website…

Wouldn’t a more accurate answer be to do a speedtest with a 5G capable mobile device from the location where the airhub would be located?

I just wanted a ball park figure. I have DSL right now and wanted to get an idea what I could gain by going with the AT&T air. But thanks for your input also. This is all very helpful

While running a speed test after first installing may yield great results, say 200/100… few on tower, clear weather, off peak, running a test several months later with more connections to the shared bandwidth, peak time 8 pm during a heavy snowstorm yield poor results where someone says not getting the speeds I had before… different circumstances. While hardwired connections should have reasonable expectations cannot say the same about wireless connections.
To me, the biggest pros to making the switch is lower monthly bill with no data cap.
Not knowing what DSL speed tier subscribed to, if have ADSL2+ with 18/1 or less and 1T data cap, overages charges $10/50G up to $100 per month, and paying $80 a month with fees compared to average 75/15, no data cap, no overage charge, and $60 per month… recommend switch.
If have VDSL best speed 25/5 is a coin toss and speeds of 50/10, 75/20 and 100/20 is recommended a stay with current service.
Just my thoughts…

@drstuart
The speeds won’t matter much if anything you do with your existing service depends on geolocation.
And I’m very confused with your response. Anyone can throw out numbers, but the only numbers that matter are the ones you’d see where the service is going to be used.

I received my new Air ATT last Wed 4/3/24.. Leaving in Broadview Heights, OH at ~ distance 0.7 from antenna.. My pick downloads (Server to home hub) are ~ 736Mpbs and averaging at ~ 360-460, mostly though 460Mbps... with uploads 15-17.5-18Mbps.. I'm happy as I switched from copper DSL with 45/5 for less money paying now (&56 something / month).
