No instructions on how to connect the All-Fi Hub device to an ethernet network
Many of the devices in my home are connected via ethernet instead of wifi. The "All-fi Hub" device I received has two ethernet ports on it, so it seems logical that it should connect to ethernet. Yet there are no instructions on how to do so. Since several devices in my home are currently on ethernet, I want to keep it that way and avoid wifi problems with those devices. Please let me know how to connect this device into my existing. ethernet system.

Depending on the number of connections needed, purchase a switch with desired number of ports, install an ethernet cable from the hub 1G port to the switch, connect your hardwired devices to the switch. Net gear GS105 has 5 ports, one to the hub and would support 4 additional ethernet lines.

Hello, my thoughts,
Your answer seems logical and in fact, I thought I would try something like that. I have to position the All-Fi Hub device upstairs, near a window, so my guess is that I only need a switch with two port outputs to connect my computer and to send the signal into my existing network. Then I will have to figure out which line is going to the wall outlet port in this room and connect that line into the input of the ethernet switch currently in use in my network junction box. Then it should send the signal to all of the currently ethernet connected devices. I'll give that a try. If I were able to set this up near my network junction box, it would be easy, but the instructions say to use a 2nd floor location near a west-facing window. That will give me a good signal, I think.

Eureka! I got it to work without any written instructions but some help from "my thoughts". However, setting up security cameras has been a challenge. Luckily, I was able to get most of that done too, but it was time-consuming. I also made a mistake in connecting some of the ethernet cables, but that appears to be sorted now. It was a painful process, but I'm glad to say it's nearly done. The equipment setup instructions say the process takes 20 minutes. That may be true in actually getting the All-Fi Hub to work, but certainly not in getting everything else to work with it!!!! I would guess that I've devoted over 4 hours to it so far, but the finish line is near.
