AT&T still insist I have to return equipment.

I have changed equipment, sent it back more than week ago

Still receiving messages about required return.

Not found how to get to support about this issue.

Any ideas?

When returning equipment via The UPS Store, best way IMO, a receipt of proof is given that can be used to contest a dispute.

800-288-2020 is the only number I know to call.  Keep pushing them to get you to someone who can help.  If that fails, a formal complaint to BBB should help.
