BGW210 + Eero

Please tell me the best way to set up the BGW210 with Eero.  I am using Eero because the ATT extenders do not work and do not offer a guest network (extenders).

I currently have the Eeros set up in Bridge mode but Eero tells me this is not the best way.  ATT told me several years ago this is the only we.  I read online there are other options but I really don't know how to go about this.

I have one Eero network with a guest network.  I recently added a second Eero network on the same BGW210 but I am finding the devices have migrated by themselves to the stronger /newer Eero.

I would like to keep the cameras and door locks on one network and my computer on a separate network.  Both using the same BGW210.

Hi @chocolatecookies, we understand your concern. Let's get the help you need.

We recommend that you configuring IP Passthrough and DMZplus, this configuration is often suitable for a customer desiring to connect third party equipment for networking, such as a router, to the AT&T provided gateway. IP Passthrough is also commonly used as an alternative to using a bridged mode.

Let us know how it goes!

Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums.

@chocolatecookies

When you look at any of your devices connected to Eero, do they have an IP address with a 192.168.1.x range?

Reason I ask is whenever I’ve looked for information about that brand, the product didn’t seem to directly support access point or bridge mode.  And furthermore, if at all possible, this is in fact the easiest way for people to get proper WiFi with an Att gateway.
