Customer service issues

We have not had working internet for 6 days (since last Friday) due to a damaged fiberoptic cable. We contacted AT&T and had a tech scheduled to come yesterday, 6/4 between 12-4. They never showed and did not contact us. We called AT&T and were finally tranferred to someone who seemed like they could help. He (Shane) said that the tech would arrive at 8AM today. They never showed. I contacted AT&T again and was told that the tech that was supposed to arrive at 8 is busy today and they can't send anyone until Friday. This is unacceptable and now I'm concerned that they won't show on Friday, either.

Hi @tdullye,

We understand and would like to point you in the right direction.

The Community Forums are a public support option where other users, and AT&T, will try and assist with high level support needs. This means we won’t be able to look into account specific concerns. To get the help you need for your unique issue, please review our Contact Us page, and choose the best option to reach out to us. You can call, chat, or reach out via social media, and we can review your specific issue and provide you support. If you feel your issue isn’t account specific, and can be answered generally, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to help.

Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums,

James, AT&T Community Specialist.

Unfortunately, our efforts to contact AT&T and receive any answers via telephone have been extremely pointless and unhelpful. AT&T needs to fix their customer service. If there is a specific person that you feel can help us with our situation, please send that information.
