Day 8 of internet outage

June 6th at 6:33 an outage was detected affecting 26 customers with an estimated restoration time of 4:00 pm the same day which was then backed up to 7:00 pm and changed again to say ?should be restored within 24 hours? it has now been 8 days! I have called AT&T multiple times for an update for them to say it would be taken care of with in 24 hours! Was told it was an issue of no power at the substation and that they were waiting on Magnolia Electric to restore power so they could fix the outage. I called Magnolia Electric and for one they do not provide service for this particular area but checked for any outages or problems in the area and NONE were detected or been reported! I called Entergy because they do provide service to this area but they also had NO outages detected or reported. Called AT&T and passed this information along to them yesterday, June 12th, and was told that the last notes from the technician stated that when they arrived at the substation on the day the outage was FIRST reported (7 days earlier) there was no power and they would check location again on the 11 th or 12th. As of 4:00 pm on June 12th none further notes had been added to work order indicating that NOBODY has bothered to return to fix whatever the issue is causing the outage. I have asked repeatedly for AT&T to request that a technician be sent out to fix this problem immediately and they keep saying to please just be patient. Well I for one have an 8th grader who was supposed to begin final exams Monday morning but was given an extension and has until Friday at 5:00 pm to complete all 5 final exams or he will fail for the year and have to repeat 8th grade over. Another customer has a daughter who is taking accelerated summer college courses and cant get online to complete her work. The courses are only 2-3 weeks long and she has already been 8 days with no internet service. What will it take to get AT&T to do their job and fix this problem and provide the service we are STILL being charged for???
