Eero and 5268AC Gateway with Uverse TV Issue
I have a 5268AC Gateway with Uverse TV and am trying to connect an eero 6 Pro E and cannot get it connected via pass-through or bridge-mode. I noticed a comment "Heads up: MAC Filtering has been disabled on the 5268AC. If you are in need of a modem that requires MAC Filtering, please reach out to us in the AT&T Community." Since I have desktops connected via wired ethernet and a printer connected wireless as will as laptops, I imagine I need bridge-mode in other for for the wired connections in the gateway to be able to talk to the wireless connections (like the printer and laptops) from the eero device. Will the gateway work for this?

Is your uverse connected by coax? If no then call customer care and ask for upgrade to bgw210 is my advise. Edit: I would stay away from eero or google nest tbh.

I agree with this advice especially for any wifi system that doesn’t support Access Point or Bridge mode to our gateways. Caveat Emptor.
Are you able to use Ethernet and WAP for your TVs that are using Uverse TV? That’s how mine were connected to BGW210 before I cancelled my TV service.

Are you connecting it via Wi-FI or using Ethernet?

I am connecting via ethernet directly to a gateway port.
