Fixed internet/AT&T Air

We have had the AT&T fixed internet for awhile, but for several months we have this error message: Outdoor Antenna needs SIM card NAD-3304L003 AT&T 5268AC Gateway could not connect to your Internet service. We received a letter that we need to now change to the AT&T new internet Air. My question is since we have this error message will that need to be fixed before the new internet Air hub would be able to work? I have no problem changing but I wanted to ensure we won?t need a tech here to do anything first.

The AT&T Internet Air has its own esim and does not use any of the old equipment (e.g., outdoor antenna, PoE injector, 5268AC), so going to the new service should address the problem.

Technically, if you were to continue to use the old service with the old equipment, you would need a new sim, but I doubt that is going to happen. It would require a technician install.
