Issues with ATT internet at my house since 2013...
I have Uverse 25 package and do have a bonded connection (one of the connections connects much better than the other). I live down a street with only 5 houses. The road when I purchased the house was not paved. It is now paved and owned by the city. When Att put the cable down the road a technician said it was a "helo drop" or something like that. In other word a poor unshielded cable. The distance is near max but my connection is messed up at least once every 2 months. The tech said I need to get them to run a new "better" cable down our road in order to have better service. However, since there are only 5 houses down my street I don't think they will do it. I work from home as a developer and need quality fast internet for development and meetings... I am about to be testing verizon wireless that I can get for $10 more and 3x the speed... Anyone know how/who I could contact to get a serious consideration on running a better connection to my home?
