Modem that can receive 3 wired connections??
Does ATT offer a modem that can handle 3 wired connections to 3 different PCs? I know, of course, we get the wireless connection, but because of the type of work I do, my system requires a wired connection to the modem. I believe we only have 2 wired ports, and both are currently being used. I need to add 1 more PC. Please help! Thank you so much, Liz

Ah, then you don't have AT&T DSL and that device linked above doesn't apply to you.
I think what you're looking for is a switch. You can find cheap switches online.
Budget:

Higher Performance:

Then, you take your two computers wired up through Ethernet off the gateway. After that, you hook up the switch to one of the now available Ethernet ports. Finally, you connect your computers through any of the available ports on the Ethernet switch.
Make sure you leave your Vonage and the mystery cable connected directly to the gateway.

Hi, thank you for your prompt response!
The modem that we have is NVG589 & it's actually similar to the one you posted, after inspection. It has 4 ports, so I stand corrected. However, all of the ports are being occupied. There are 2 connected to 2 computers in the home office, 1 port is used by vonage for a separate phone line, and the 4th port is being occupied b some other cable ( and not sure what to be honest). So, are there modems that have more than 4 ports OR is it possible to get a sort of "splitter" so allow 2 cable to connect to one of the ports at the back of the modem. Thank you for your help with this, by the way!
