Routing issue in AT&T network
I am experiencing a routing issue in the AT&T network and cannot get anyone in your support department to even understand what a traceroute is, let alone help or direct me to someone who can help.
I have omitted the first two hops to keep my location hidden. hop 3 is an AT&T IP per ARIN whois.

I experience an issue with this extreme packet loss. when I use a VPN I do not get the same issue. clearly there is a network routing problem.

Just to set expectations, and as you’ve already observed, there is no way for us customers to get tickets opened for the type of issue you’ve raised. And the forum is not for this purpose either.
Another user may make observations about an issue.
I do agree BTW not being able to use default connection and having suboptimal performance is a bummer.

calling what I experience suboptimal is like saying the ocean is merely damp. It's unplayable if I do not use a VPN. Also, Yes, I play WoT, but am in Texas. I posted here in hopes that SOMEONE may have a contact at AT&T that can, in some way, help.
