simple question

I would like someone, with the correct level of authority, to tell me when AT&T is going to invest in their internet infrastructure?  I thought, at first, the lack of investment in our area was because we live in a rural area, but I can tell from the nationwide complaints that AT&T is not living up to service promises, anywhere.  There are competitors out there and at some point they will be viable.  Why won't AT&T invest in their infrastructure?  It's just good business--and the right thing to do.

Hi There @ColConnie,

It is great to hear from you again. This is a question that is not very easily answered. We can provide all that we can to try to steer you in the right direction.

According to the information that we have, it is all down to the distance between you and the available AT&T facilities, when it comes to service delivery. We can tell you that we are improving and expanding all the time.

What you can do is, use this Notify Me link and place yourself or your household on the notification mailing list, so that you will be notified when a newer or faster service becomes available.

Also, you did mention that you live in a rural area.  Have you heard of Fixed Wireless? Check out the link provided to see if that is more what you are needed.

We do thank you for the feedback provide and have a wonderful day.

Matthew, AT&T Community Specialist
