Unable to print wirelessly

I need some help with a frustrating issue. I have a Brother MFC-L 8850 printer which could not connect to wifi consistently. I changed to a (Edited per community guidelines) MFC750C series but I still have the same issue. I believe the problem is with the internet. I need some help with this. I am not tech-savvy at all. Thank you very much.

I was able to create a guest network with a different password. I connected the printer and the laptop to this network. That seems to have fixed it. Thank you very much for your advice.

I use (Edited per community guidelines) printers (not that it probably makes any difference) and place them on the Guest Network, which I have given a different name (SSID) and password to. However, I had to use the manual WiFi setup on the printer for it to connect, and stay connected to the router. It could also depend on where the printer is located in relationship to where the router is.  It's more than likely not the internet but the printer setup or the location of the printer, especially if you don't have any other WiFi issues with your other devices.

Moving to internet.

And consult the manufacturer website

Air printers and the device You're printing from must be on the same WiFi network.
