Uverse Router Keeps Rebooting

My Uverse router reboots itself 2 to 4 times PER DAY.  Over the phone Tech service no help.  We have had this issue for about two years now.  Tech guys are great, and each time they replace my router.  But it only works for a few weeks, then the issue comes back.  I even plugged it into its own outlet (i.e. not a power strip).  We currently have a Pace 5268AC router.  Older posts suggest disabling IpV6???  Hesitant to mess with it - other sites say you shouldn't do it.  Since it happens with each new router, I gotta believe the issue is either the line or the settings.  Any ideas ?

Check the electrical outlet for any problems. Also try a new power supply for the gateway.

Make sure all connections to the gateway are fully inserted(including ethernet connections).

Last resort is have the lines inside and outside the home checked. Fiber or copper to the home?
