Windows 7 Wi-Fi Error 692 [Fixed]

I brought my Windows 7 laptop home but can not connect it to the wifi. My home computer is a Mac Pro desktop and is networked with no problem. I get an error 692.

It's whldorsey, the one who asked the question originally. I have solved the problem. Here I am pasting in the reply I made by email through the reply to the question; it includes the document that led to the solution.

Never mind.

I figured it out.

It's connected, and I know what to to.

The helpful link was at this URL:

The document linked within it is embedded in this response to another person's question:

For setting up and connecting to a wireless network with your notebook, I have included two documents here for you. 'Setting Up a New Connection to a Wireless Local Area Network (Windows 7)'. This document is for if you have a modem router combination for internet.

Furst I had to turn the Wireless Assistant. It readily detected mine and neighbors' WiFi, I selected mine and entered the "Security code," identified on the sticker as "Password." That was it.
