Access denied for United airlines

For the last few days, whenever I use Firefox on my laptop at home, if I try to find information about tickets on United.com, I get the response 'Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.united.com/ual/en/US/flight-search/book-a-flight/results/awd?" on this server.Reference #18.56603417.1567696296.b7588c2 '. This does not happen if I use Internet Explorer. As ATT is my server, I wonder if you can explain why this is now happening, whereas it has not occurred previously in all the years we've been using ATT.

Hey, @STDWhite.

Thanks for reaching out! We'd be glad to help you access your browser.

Since you are able to access the site on Internet Explorer, the Firefox browser is likely the cause. Have you tried Clearing your Cache, Cookies, & Browser History yet? We'd also recommend making sure your browser is up to date, and uninstalling, and then reinstalling it.

Let us know if this helps!

For the last 10 days, whenever I try to access certain sites at home, I get the response 'Access Denied You don't have permission to access "https://www.come.com" on this server. Reference # Reference #18.9c784017.1702301246.235c4ab'. I get this message when I try access a few other sites. I also get other messages depending on the site I am trying to access.  For example I get the following message when I try to access REI.com or Lowes.com  “It looks like the webpage at https://www.rei.com/ might be having issues, or it may have moved permanently to a new web address ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR.”

I have several laptops at home and 4 Mobile phones. These errors happen using any of these devices regardless of the browser (Chrome, Foxfire, or Microsoft edge). I cleared my Cache, Cookies, & Browser History on all these devices, but that did not help.

As ATT is my server, I wonder if you can explain why this is now happening, whereas it has not occurred previously in all the years we've been using ATT.

Hello@AH2018, thanks for reaching out to AT&T Community and Forums. We understand the gravity of your concern. Let's get the help you need.

Based on the error messages you’ve received, it seems like you’re encountering a server-side issue. This could be due to a variety of reasons such as server maintenance, server overload, or server misconfiguration.

However, there are a few things you can try to resolve the issue:

1.      Check your network settings: Ensure that your network settings are configured correctly. You can try resetting your router or modem to see if that resolves the issue.

2.      Disable your VPN or proxy server: If you’re using a VPN or proxy server, try disabling it and see if that resolves the issue.

3.      Try accessing the websites from a different network: If possible, try accessing the websites from a different network, such as a public Wi-Fi network or a mobile data network. This will help you determine if the issue is specific to your home network.

4.      Use a different device: If you have access to another device, try accessing the websites from that device. This will help you determine if the issue is specific to a particular device.

We hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried all the options you mentioned in your response. #1 the ATT router was resey. That did not resolve the issue

#2: VPN is not used and proxy server was not used and it was already disabled. But the problem presisted.

#3 I did access the sites from a public Wi-Fi network and via Mobile data. they all come through with no problem,.  I only run into this problem when using my home ATT internet service.

#4 I have tried 4 laptops and 4 Mobiles. I experienced thevsame issue on all the devices.

So after talking to ATT technical support and after they tried to diagnosed the issue An ATT technician is coming to my house tomorrow to replace the ATT router/box to see if this will resolve the issue. Hopefully replacing the box will fix the issue.

Waste of time.  Next time create your own thread instead of using someone else’s obsolete one.
