Can't Access PSN

I recently got a Xbox 360 and PS3 (way behind I know), I added the various ports advised in the forums to the port forwarding of the firewall, however I cannot connect to the PlayStation Network. I can connect to Xbox Live and use the web browser in the Playstation, I can even go to the playstation website, but neither the PS3 or my PC can I connect to PSN, what am I missing? I even checked to see if PSN was down and it was not.
