Device Scans & Wirelessly connecting
Hello! I’m seeing a lot of activity in my Smart Home manager for different devices that are not on or not in use by anyone in the household during the times activity is taking place. For example, a device scan was completed around 6a on the TV in my bedroom when I was asleep. The TV was not turned on by anyone in the home.
I’ve been seeing instances like these with other devices as well.
Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a normal thing? I’ve contacted AT&T several times about this and they continue to tell me that basically my network is safe but I’m feeling otherwise.

Just because your tv or other device is “off” does not mean it is inactive. Many appliances go into a sleep mode when turned off but continue to use the network for status and software updates. Try to unplug the device overnight and see if anything changes.

My ATT Home APP does a Device Scan Complete notification that says "We found no vulnerabilities on "John's Chromecast Ultra streaming device". My question is : WHAT is a Chromecast Ultra streaming device"? I've not bought one?
