High Ping While Gaming on Only One PC

Both of us are wireless.

See if you have the same behavior wired, if you can.

I can't wire it from where I am in the house.

I had the SAME exact problem. We paid to up the download service.. we updated everything, scanned everything.. got the best wireless connection and even replaced the modem. Nothing worked.  Funny thing is that I have the same specs as you do except I have an i7 processor.  Guess what stopped the wireless internet interference?  I turned my andriod cellphone OFF.  That's it. Problem fixed. Apparently my cellphone being on the desk was causeing the issue. It may take a few mins. I would restart the computer after turning the cellphone off just to be sure.

THE STORY:

Okay, so I unfortunately have to play wow using a wireless connection. I have been getting kicked from wow and battlenet over and over and over again. I have been having this issue for weeks. I have tried EVERYTHING I could think of to stop the issue. I updated windows, updated every single component driver on my computer, I uninstalled and reinstalled wow. I ran virus scanners. I defragged my computer. I reset the router and modem. I moved the wifi adapter for a closer signal. We even paid to up our data usage through our service provider and had tech support try to diagnose the problem. I moved objects away from my wireless reciever and the router. I even tried running wow as an administrator and made sure it was compatible with my version of windows. etc.. NOTHING fixed the problem!!!

Guess what did? I turned my android cell phone OFF and the problem was fixed within minutes! No more D/C's!! I usually keep my cellphone on the desk next to the keyboard. Even tho my wifi reciever is like 4 feet away.. it was still causing issues. Gah! *Facepalm*

If you are having issues with your wifi connection.. try turning your cellphone off. Just wanted to share that with you all.

Anything else with radio type signals near by? Baby monitors.. wifi speakers etc? Try moving or turning off those things as well.

Nope, nothing that could mess it up. I'm thinking about bringing my pc into bestbuy to get it checked out, I'm starting to think there's something wrong with the computer itself.
