less than expected upload speed on Max plan

up'd my current plan one tier to the Max plan.  upload speeds are consistently 0.42-0.5 mbps

download speed ok and consistently 12 - 13 mpbs.

what's up with the low upload speed?

Are you on VDSL or ADSL2? The ADSL2 upload is only 1mbps and has no over provisioning. If you have a NVG510, you are on ADSL2

Well… The ADSL2/2+ allows for a max of 1mbps on the upload just because the technology doesn't reserve much bandwidth for upload. Remember, ADSL2 was invented before we started using all this cloud stuff. I don't know what else to tell you other than to send a PM to @ATTU-verseCare to see if they can see if there is something wrong.
