Netflix

When watching Netflix, we constantly lose connection.  I've called Tech Support and the only support is to reboot which we already do.  This past week AT&T came out and said we needed to bump up our package for Uverse.  We did, and while watching movies this weekend, we are still losing connection.  Anyone know what else can be causing this to happen?  I don't want to switch service because we have had AT&T so long and I don't want to switch email addresses.

Need more info:

What are you watching Netflix on?

Is it wire or wireless?

What RG(modem) do you have?

What speed are you subscribed to?

We have the "Max Plus" plan which is downstream of 18 Mbps.  The Tech said that should be enough.   We are watching Netflix through a Sony Smart TV wirelessly.  The modem is from AT&T and is an Arris NVG589.

Thanks!

OK can you try it with a wired connection to see if that helps.

Also look at this post from Somejoe7777.

Hope this helps.

Can you try it wired, to see if the issue is with the connection to your home, or the wireless signal with in your home?

I still need to test wired.  What I do find strange is I can use my laptop wirelessly and watch Netflix right near my TV and it never buffers but trying to watch on my TV it buffers constantly.
