Offshore customer support

I usually don't put comments in forums or make my thoughts public, but after Friday's (9/4/2015), I'm very dissatisfied with ATT offshore customer service.  They are unsympathetic, they don't understand my problem, they have no idea that a $10 compensation is not something to boast about.  I spent more than 4 hours of my personal time calling and trouble shooting why my internet/TV was down and all I was told was that it will be back up within 24 hours.  The problem was not resolved within 24 hours. 

 

ATT "advance tech support" (offshore) were very condescending and confrontational.  

 

All these issuse came after I renewed my service.  Talk about a bad decision...

Did you ask to speak to a rep in the USA? I won't talk to offshore agents because they don't know what they are doing. They strike me as script readers who are just there to handle overflow call from the USA and collect a pay check.

They would not allow it. It was as if it was a sin to do so. It just
seemed very wasteful (time/money/frustration).

My uverse experience as of today. Got someone OffShore. Doesn't even have up to date bills. Try to explain AGAIN. I will get you an Account Specialist On Hold for 25minutes. NO ONE Gomes back! No Communication what so ever! So I will go home Pay Online and DEAL WITH IT U-VERSE! Get People in the USA That Understands!!
