Port forwarding - BGW210-700
Hi, I'm attempting to set up port forwarding for an application on my laptop on an ARRIS BGW210-700.
I have the port (56789) set up under Custom Services, tied to my laptop with global port range 56789-5689.
I've got that same port set as the "listening port" on this application.
But now I'm getting a message on all of the port checker websites stating that the port is closed.
I've tried rebooting the router, factory resetting it, rebooting the laptop, and adding inbound & outbound rules to allow the port for both TCP and UDP.
I am not using a VPN.
I followed the steps listed in the following post, but still no luck: https://forums.att.com/conversations/att-internet-features/port-forwarding/62f170ed4a366c200e4ddec2?commentId=62f28e26521a9257946d1ee7

Have you tried accessing the port from another machine in your network using your machine's local IP address?
Have you checked any software Firewall you may have on your laptop?
Have you checked using something like NETSTAT /ab to see if your OS actually shows your application having the port allocated?

Hello, it does not show as being allocated on NETSTAT. It was not blocked on my Windows defender firewall, but I added rules there to allow it that port for both TCP & UDP, inbound and outbound. When trying to access the port from another machine in my network using my machine's local IP address, I'm getting a message that the site can't be reached.
