Red and green blinking lights in my modem

hello! im having a lot of issues with my internet connection, the problem started when the lights went out for a few minutes, then when it came back, the modem was blinking green and red like a christmas tree light, then i tried to reset holding the reset button for 20 seconds, but istill the same problem, i tried to reconnect everything and the problem persist a lot ( i reseted the modem like 3 times) what can i do?? i have a week without connection

Try pulling the power cord from the back, wait 30 secs. and plug it back in.

If a factory reset didn't clear it I assume a simple reboot will fix it either.  But try it as described above, it's worth the try.  If your lights went out I assume that was a power failure.  So perhaps there was some kind of surge or pulse on the line that could have either fried something in the gateway or something outside that the gateway connects to.  Either way call tech support (800-288-2020) and ask them to do a line check from their end.  Go from there on how to proceed.
