Unable to forward port 80 to local device

Yup and same thing might happen on 443, wireless TV port.

Nothing you can do about it, not sure a 3rd party router in IP Passthrough could forward it there either.

Well, what genius came up with the idea of using the most commonly used service ports for the uverse tv services and preventing paying customers from being able to fully utilize the services they are paying for?

I used to like my uverse service but in the last few months it has gone to crap, wireless tv receiver needs to be rebooted and reconnected the AP, usually have to reboot the AP as well.. My broadband 2 light has been red for months and everytime i call the techs tell me it's normal and broadband 2 is just in "standby mode".. Which i know is bull because they were both solid green for years...

Sad to say but it's time to check out the competition..

Port 443 is used by the wireless receiver WAP.  I am not aware that port 80 is used by AT&T.

Have you checked to see if you can see the existing pinhole for port 80 in the configuration?

@ATTU-verseCare, can you confirm or deny that AT&T is reserving port 80 (like you do port 443)?

I don't have an NVG589, so I can't direct you to the correct menu.  But I would think it would say "Firewall" on it somewhere.
