Why is my upload speed so slow?
Compared to my download speend my upload speed is terrible, I dont think this is how it should be and it isn't what im paying for....
I am using wired internet connection on a very good computer, this shouldnt be the case.
1mbs upload is 3rd world speeds

You do not state which internet package subscribed to or RG but you are testing hardwired.
The following are Uverse VDSL speed profiles using the 3600, 3800, 3801, i38hg, 5031, and 589 RGs.
Pro 3/1, Elite 6/1, Max 12/1.5, Max Plus 18/1.5, Max Turbo 24/3, Power 45/6, Power Plus 75/8.
The last two are bonded short loop using the 589 RG only.
As your speed tests showing up as 1.9 you have either Max or Max Plus at 1.5 over provisioned allowing 1.9. I see nothing wrong with this test, if desire a faster upload please check to seen if your address will support the Max Turbo 24/3 that over provided yields closer to 29/4.5.
The Max Turbo is $15 more a month compared to Max and $10 more than Max Plus.
