WiFi not allowing to connect
Everytime I try to connect to my WiFi I get a message saying can’t connect to the internet your internet service provider or your router might be preventing your ps5 from connecting to the internet. Make sure you can connect to the internet via the same network as your ps5 by testing the connection using your computer or mobile device.

It's important for you to point out that you're having issues with connecting a PS5. Significant context about your problem, including what diagnostic steps you have tried and what the results of those were, are necessary. For example, what happened when you followed these instructions?

I went on a website that’s some numbers on the router and it said problem fixed but I still couldn’t connect to it, so I tried a Ethernet cable and that didn’t work either. The WiFi connects to my phone a fire stick and some other devices just fine, I also tried using WPS but it showed the same pop up message

Hey @Abc72, we understand that you have concerns regarding connectivity of PS5 to internet. We’re glad to help.
Make sure that you're following the steps to connect your PS5 correctly by following our guide on Troubleshooting your Playstation. You'll see the appropriate steps to connect your console wirelessly, as well as online.
We also suggest that you restart your gateway by unplugging the power connection behind the gateway for ~15 seconds, then plugging it back in and waiting for the broadband light to turn green. This will refresh the Wi-Fi connection and should get you connected faster.
If that doesn't keep them connected, we recommend port forwarding for each console. Since they aren't AT&T devices, you'll want to reach out to Sony's support team to learn which ports should be opened and how to open them.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to write back to us.
Thank you for reaching out on AT&T Community and Forums!

When the PS5 says "Can't connect to the internet," what it really means is that the PS5 is trying to connect to one particular address on the Internet, owned by Sony, and it can't get there. This could be an issue with Sony's DNS infrastructure, or server infrastructure, or full Internet routing, etc., etc. Or it might simply be the PS5 isn't connecting to your Wi-Fi. The PS5's diagnostics don't seem to make it easy to see where the issue is.
This may be an issue that will resolve itself after a few hours, or not.

This is a rather PS5 specific issue. While I know Sony would rather just blame it on your ISP or your network, we need help determining exactly what the problem is. See if there's a PS5 forum that could provide further troubleshooting and see if there's a way to narrow down this message to a specific problem rather than this rather general "crap don't work" message. Once we know what the underlying issue is, there may be something that can be done on your Gateway or home network.
