WiFi on 2.4G

Long story short: Inside the house we have a BHW320 which services internet, TV etc. and all work fine.

I have a line out of the ATT router that goes outside to a metal building. Once in the building the ethernet cable goes to an EA4500 Linksys "Internet" slot. The outgoing connections are ethernet wired to a TV, Apple Box, and a PC. All Work Fine.

Here's my issue: I'm trying to connect to a Pair of Phillips WIZ light bulbs which require access to a 2.4G wireless connection. A combo 5G/2.4G setup confuses the bulbs.

In the BGW320 setup I renamed the 2.5G. In the house I can detect the 2.5G but NOT in the outside building. I can however detect the 5G and the 5G guest network connection so I know the EA4500 is working....to a point.

I have not done any setup on the EA4500. Just plug and play as I am using it as an extension to the ATT router in the house.

Suggestions?

I went into Windows and the EA4500 is listed as working properly.

I'll have to do some checking. Perhaps there's a way to limit the EA4500 to only work on 2.4G via wireless??
