WIFI vs LAN subnet

I have an ARRIS NVG589 router, and for some reason it started assigning IP addresses with a different subnet to WIFI devices than it does for LAN devices.  WIFI addresses are 192.168.86.xxx whereas LAN devices are 192.168.1.xxx. This is causing a connectivity problem with a home music server which is on the LAN and endpoints which are on WIFI.  How can I force the router to assign different subnets?

Figured it out, Google Nest sets a different subnet than the LAN - I just moved the server onto the Nest network and everything is fixed. Thanks for the input, folks!

Did you turn on the Guest Wi-Fi network?

I didn't, only one network active.

Do you have any other router or Wi-Fi access point on the network? They sometimes take control over address assignments.

You might want to look at its configuration. I believe that 192.168.86.0/24 is Google Nest's default IP address space for LAN devices.
