ATT/Yahoo Email will not print anymore

Chrome prints. Firefox prints. ATT/Yahoo email print function will not work in either Firefox or Chrome and it did before. I cleared cache and the problem still exists. How do I make the email function work again? It doesn't work using the print icon in the email or from the 3 dots in the same banner with the reply/send arrows (where the print function can also be found).

Just checked by switching back to Standard Mail, and the print button is working again.  (It would have been nice if AT&T/Yahoo had notified all of their customers about the issue and the eventual fix, though.)

My 83 year old dad has the same issue today. He printed something successfully June 8, so this is new. I tried all the suggestions on Yahoo Mail help pages. Note this is not happening with my personal Yahoo email that is not AT&T related.

Switching to basic does work but is not a great option for us because the interface is different enough to confuse him. I showed him how to select text, right click and print that way in the interim. Hope more research happens on this.

I was able to change the email on my home computer to the Standard version of AT&T/Yahoo Mail with 1 mouse click last night.  When I came to work this morning and booted up my work computer, both the home and work email accounts had reverted back to the Standard version by themselves.

In future,  I think AT&T/Yahoo should be much more proactive in both notifying all affected customers immediately when a similar problem arises, as well as when the problem is resolved.

I am having the same issue, but only on my work computer (Windows 11).  I have my personal email account on MS Edge and the business' email account on Firefox on that computer, but the print button does not respond when clicked in either account -- but only on my work computer.  I was using the office manager's computer earlier this morning, and was able to print emails (the business's email account, via MS Edge) from that computer without any problems.  Just checked the "3 dots in same banner with reply/send arrows" option (which I hardly ever use), and no response to clicking "print" there either.  The AT&T help pages seem to address just about everything BUT troubleshooting print problems with ATT/Yahoo email.

I have just returned from a week's vacation (and could print emails just fine pre-vacation); could something have gotten fouled up while I was gone?

Hi @mccfamschoolmom

We understand your concern. Let's get the help you need.

Since Yahoo and AT&T are merged together to create an email domain, and the troubleshooting steps with the Yahoo print option is limited from us. Hence, we'd recommend that you reach out to Yahoo support team for further assistance.

Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums,

I tried clicking on the link for the Yahoo support team, and the closest information I saw on their help pages was the standard instructions for how to print an email.  When I clicked "Need additional help?" I was routed back to the AT&T help pages, which had provided no help on the non-functional Print button issue, and no Contact Us form where I could describe the specific issue I was having.  I tried Googling "Yahoo Mail print button does not work", and tried a couple of suggestions there (f.ex., selecting "print directly to printer" in the Advanced preferences for my computer, restarting the computer), and the Print button in AT&T/Yahoo email still does not respond.  Word processing documents (MS Word) print just fine, and the Print option in both MS Edge and Firefox work fine -- but just print whatever's on the screen, rather than the complete contents of an email.  As a temporary workaround, I was able to copy/paste the contents of an email into a blank MS Word document and get it printed that way -- but I should NOT have to go through all that for every email I wish to print.

Hi @mccfamschoolmom

We understand your concern. Let's get the help you need.

The Community Forums are a public support option where other users, and AT&T, will try and assist with high level support needs. This means we won’t be able to look into account specific concerns. To get the help you need for your unique issue, please review our Contact Us page-https://www.att.com/support/contact-us/, and choose the best option to reach out to us. You can call, chat, or reach out via social media, and we can review your specific issue and provide you support. If you feel your issue isn’t account specific, and can be answered generally, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to help.

Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums,

This problem isn't account specific.  None of the icons (print, download, etc.) are working.  It's a system problem.

What are the links to AT&T support on social media?  The Contact Us page referred me to a phone number, and the Chat option was totally AI and kept giving answers unrelated to my question.  I would really prefer to troubleshoot this non-functional Print button issue in AT&T Mail with an actual employee of AT&T Customer Service, who could provide relevant troubleshooting information.

My 86 year old dad and I are having the same issue.  This is what I discovered.  Neither of us could open pdf files and print them on our att email.  You could print the email itself from right clicking on the mouse but not by clicking on the print function button on att email.  HOWEVER when I switched both our emails to BASIC the pdf would open and the print function on the emails was working.  Something is going on with the STANDARD VERSION of Att Yahoo email.  Try switching to BASIC version.
