Hi @turbogreg! We completely understand your concern regarding attaching documents in emails, and would like to help. Let's get the assistance you require.

Troubleshoot email attachments

Having trouble sending, receiving, or viewing attachments? It could be a problem with your browser settings, the file size or name, or unsupported file encryption. Try these tips to resolve your problems.

Check browser settings

First, make sure you're using one of our supported browsers. Then, try clearing cache and cookies.

Reduce file size

You can attach up to 50 files to an email message with a maximum total message size of 25MB.

Remove special characters from a file name

Make sure you haven't used any special characters (like #, $, /, or @) in your file name. These characters can cause problems in sending.

Reformat encrypted files

Attachment garbled or doesn’t open? It may be in an encrypted format. Encryption only works if both the sender and recipient have the key to decode it. Ask the sender for an unencrypted file.

Additional information to help troubleshoot your email.

Please let us know if that helps.

Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums,

Ancy, AT&T Community Specialist.

We understand your concern, and we are here to help. We request you to get in touch with our team.
The Community Forums are a public support option where other users, and AT&T, will try and assist with high level support needs. This means we won’t be able to look into account specific concerns.  To get the help you need for your unique issue, please review our Contact Us page, and choose the best option to reach out to us.  You can call, chat, or reach out via social media, and we can review your specific issue and provide you support.  If you feel your issue isn’t account specific, and can be answered generally, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to help.

Thank you.

Your contact us page is absolutely useless as it does not have contact info for email support I have called several times and the robot just hangs up on me as i am not a att customer other than email and they have no specific contact  direction or email support. I feel like the red headed step child NO SUPPORT!
