Not receiving important emails from several senders; They are on our contact lists; not on blocked lists

I use AT&T Yahoo Mail on my laptop, using Chrome, and on my iPhone using a pop account as well as the iphone AT&T /Yahoo! email app.  My husband uses AT&T Yahoo eMail on his Mac.  For several months (known since October 2023) until today (mid Jan 2024) we are getting notifications from friends sending us emails and important businesses sending us emails that they are getting messages saying " your email not delivered" when they try to email our two @swbell.net accounts; Both mine and my husbands.  We've confirmed that they are sending to our correct email addresses which haven't changed in years, but they are old @swbell.net accounts, that still work find for 200-250 messages a day; just not ALL messages.

I'm also finding some of these senders messages in my spam folder in the iphone app; but not on my PC Currently, from AT&T link.  When I try to move these iphone At&T/Yahoo! app SPAM messages to my inbox, the inbox is grayed out and messages can't be moved.  I've checked filters (none), and blocked emails (only two; one with a @yahoo.com address; none from friends or businesses who have received "message not delivered" notices).  How do we get ALL emails reliably delivered to our email addresses?  How do we get these important business emails "unblocked" as they are not being blocked by any of our email apps or Currently, from AT&T/Yahoo!  settings?   I've been working with one of these blocked emails business senders for over a month thinking it was on their end; and it is not on their end, from what they can tell.  They recommended checking with AT&T/Yahoo.   I've checked if this is happening in each of the accounts (Currently, from AT&T on PC, and my iPhone Pop account and the iphone AT&T / Yahoo app.  Only the iPhone At&T/ Yahoo app has one of these blocked accounts going to Spam and when I try to move it to Inbox, the inbox is grayed out)  The other accounts don't even get the emails that sends say they are getting "not delivered" messages.

Hi @Rostergold! We understand that you are not receiving the email from a specific sender. We hear you, and we're happy to assist you.

We recommend that you follow the troubleshooting steps to start getting your emails :

You may have blocked either their email address or domain extensions (for example, com, org, net). Check if they have the Blocked Addresses feature enabled:

  1. In the upper right-hand corner, select the Gear, and choose More Settings to access Settings.
  2. On the Settings menu, in the left-hand column, select Security and Privacy.
  3. Under Blocked Addresses in the right-hand window, you can check for any email addresses being blocked.
  4. Scan the list of blocked addresses for the ID of the account being investigated.
Heads up: They could block a whole domain if they do not enter a valid email address. Check all blocked addresses listed.
  5. To remove a blocked address, highlight it and click the trash can icon.

If no erroneous blocks were found, or no blocked addresses exist, check the filters. They may have created email filters.

  1. In the upper-right corner, select the Gear, and choose More Settings to access Settings.
  2. On the Settings menu, from the left-hand column, select Filters
  3. Check for any existing filters that may have triggered, causing messages to route to a specified folder. Highlight the filter name to view what the filter is directing the mail to do. You can edit the filter from here.
    • Example 1: They created a filter to route messages with pizzahut.com in the From field to the folder named Trash.
      • If this is an email they assume is missing, have them check the folder for the message in question.
      • If the messages are found, ask them to check their filters/folders. They can leave the filters as is, edit, or delete as they see fit.
    • Example 2: They created a filter to route any messages containing the @ symbol in the From address to the Trash folder.
      • In this scenario, anyone sending an email directs to the Trash folder, as every email address in the From field has an @ symbol.
    • Example 3: There may be a filter with simply a period or comma. They may not see it, but any email with a comma or period falls into the filter rules. Thoroughly check all filters.

Meanwhile, you can check the article for Resolve Email issue.

For further assistance, we are always here to help!

Thank you
