Yahoo / AT&T email profile picture change.

This came up a couple of days ago. It appears that this capability is no longer available, either because AT&T broke it or made a conscious decision to remove it (no idea why).

You've only spent 4 hours?  I've spent over a week.  I have the exact same issue.  I've talked to everyone possible.  ATT blames Yahoo.  Yahoo blames ATT.  I changed my nickname to something funny for Yahoo Fantasy football 2 months ago.  I no longer can change it back.  I forever will be known as that name and profile pic.  If you get a breakthrough please post.  I will do the same.   Then all the login issues on top of it.  

Also, I use this for business so it is a pain.  Been over 17 years.  If you create a new Yahoo user name that doesn't help either because it then changes your mail with that same yahoo name.  It really is a mess.  The redirect to ATT all over is nuts.  

I'm not sure about the email but that sounds like they're talking about the picture next to your name here, not anyplace else in Yahoo/AT&T land. 

Nope.  We are not.  We are talking about changing the pic and name on the email account.  Can't do it any more in Yahoo/AT&T land for those accounts that are not new.   

@Razzzy68   I'm well aware of the issue with the Yahoo/AT&T avatar as evidenced by the fact that I'm the one who told you it couldn't be done. 

I thought @perrysharon42 was saying he couldn't change the avatar here in the forums.

I know.  The aggravation is just fun.  Any word on the changing of the password issue every few times a week?  That is annoying :)

And when I change the password I still get about 5 letters a week telling me I did that - even though I have only email communication checked.

At first I thought you were talking about something that people other than you actually saw, like the "pretty name" attached to your e-mail address.  But it sounds like this is all about the picture and name beside it at the top of the currently.com web page?  Is that correct?

Yeah.  It used to tie into the avatar in the att.com profile but now that's only a color change. 

@Razzzy68   Haven't you heard?  AT&T is aware of the situation and they're working on a fix!  😁
