Bellsouth.net Email to Yahoo Email now must be AT&T Email

You may want to try resetting your email password. This can re-sync your email and help most common email issues like this.

1. Go to att.com/myatt.
2. Select Forgot password?
3. Fill out the password info.
4. Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts. If you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
5. Create your new password.

Hi, so here's my problem that just occurred today. I have a bellsouth.net email address that I've had for a long time and still use. I have it setup through the yahoo mail app on my iphone to get the email there and I can access through yahoo.com's login page as well. Today while on my iphone and in the yahoo mail app. A box popped up that said "we need to reauthorize your mail account" and then it stopped syncing and no mail could be gotten. I tried to go back in the mail app to type in the password again, but it took me to a At&T login page each time. It's never done this before unless there were problems going on at one point in time. I've never had to use Att page to signin to my bellsouth.net email address. It's always been yahoo.com or the yahoo mail app on my iphone. What happened to change this and how do I regain access to my bellsouth.net email? It's an important email account for me to have.

I had to call and wait.  The guy at AT&T stated there's a parent email and my email now... we were able to get back in but both emails function as one.  I'd call and have them straighten it out. They fixed mine but it was a little over an hour on the phone.

@RitaW They combined emails and didn’t tell anyone? Is the parent one an ATT one and the other being the bellsouth.net one?

Not sure.  That is pretty much my junk email but I have many things linked to it.  My husband changed our at&t fiber account to his email which is what mixed things up.  I would call them.  They fixed our account, so yours should get fixed too. 

I have the old bellsouth email and was able to log in to it until just recently.  I've seen what others have said about their bellsouth email, and not being tech savvy at all, I don't understand about logging in using yahoo, etc.  Would that help me with my bellsouth email and how do I use yahoo, and others?  Thanks
