Cannot acces MyATT email profile
When I try to log into MyATT email profile I am automatically redirected to my DirecTV account login and no longer have access to my email account profile
I was on the phone with ATT and DirecTV support for over 6 hours over the last several weeks trying to get help unlinking My ATT account from my DirecTV account. After talking to 5 different people, the last person referred me back to the phone number I originally had called.
My DirecTV account and my att.net email both use my att.net email as the userid. Before I subscribed to DirecTV, I could log into My ATT email account and manage my profile. Now when I try to log into My ATT email profile, it automatically redirects me to DirecTV and does not give me access to my email profile. Because I can't access information about my email through My ATT I cannot generate a secure email key which is required to use my att.net account used with Outlook. I just keep being shuffled around to different people. I have tried the suggestions provided from the various support contact, but they have not resolved the issue. I have even tried changing my user ID and contact email on my DirecTV account to my .gmail accounts. It did not make any difference. Please help! I need to be able to set up a secure email key and manage two sub accounts which can only be done through My ATT.

We're sorry to see that you're having so much trouble accessing your email and creating a secure mail key, PolarBear5.
Because your AT&T email is linked to your DirecTV account, you'll have to have the DirecTV team unlink it, so that you can sign in without being redirected to their sign-in page.
We understand that you've already tried speaking with them, but we will not be able to access your DirecTV account to remove your email. You can give them a call at 855-3836121 or visit the DirecTV Community Forums.

My ATT account from your DirecTV account. It sounds like this issue is preventing you from accessing your att.net email profile and generating a secure email key for use with Outlook.

No one at AT&T takes ownership of this AT&T e-mail issue. Direct TV tells me they have unlinked my swbell.net email account on their side. Still, I cannot get into my swbell.net e-mail profile without being redirected to Direct TV account. When I was pushed by AT&T to move my Uverse TV package to Direct TV, I did so. When I was unable to get even close to gig speed for streaming, I switched to a competitor who could with the assurance from AT&T Internet that I could keep my e-mail addresses. This remains somewhat true, but I have an issue that requires me to get into my profile to generate a new secure mail key. I can't get this done. Please provide with a reliable contact that can assist.
