Cannot login to POP3 servers

POP3 servers will not accept my login and my Outlook 2016 doesn't send or receive mail. 

It started yesterday at 4:29pm cst.

I have tried

pop.mail.yahoo.com  (use Port 995 and SSL/TLS)

smtp.mail.yahoo.com  (use Port 465 and SSL/TLS)

and

inbound.att.net  port 465

outbound.att.net   port 995

After restarting Outlook each time, still not accepting my login.

Hi @tphenson! Thanks for contacting us, let's get the assistance you require.

 

First, create a Secure Mail Key.

 

If you already have an SMK, and it's not working, use that link to go in and delete it and create a new one. Use that one in Outlook instead.

 

Then in Outlook use that key wherever Outlook asks for a password.

 

If you still get errors, use these alternate servers instead of the att.com servers.

 

 

IMAP

imap.mail.yahoo.com  (use Port 993 and SSL/TLS)

smtp.mail.yahoo.com  (use Port 465 and SSL/TLS)

 

POP3

pop.mail.yahoo.com  (use Port 995 and SSL/TLS)

smtp.mail.yahoo.com  (use Port 465 and SSL/TLS)
