Can't get into SBCGLOBAL account

I am not a current ATT customer, but do have an Sbcglobal.net email account. I cannot log in as it asks for my ATT ID and I can't find a way to log in with my email and password from a web browser. It seems like an endless loop asking me to log into my ATT account. Can you help? The AI chat is not helping I need a person. I am very frustrated

Please try resetting your mail account's password.

  1. Go to reset your password.
  2. Enter your user ID and the last name associated with your ID.
  3. Choose your verification method and follow the prompts.
  4. Enter and confirm your new password.

You can also try accessing your email account on the web:

  1. Go to currently.com.
  2. Select Mail.
  3. Enter your email address and password.
  4. Get your authentication security code. If you have more than one phone number on your account, choose which number should get your code.
  5. Enter the code and click Submit to sign in.
