Can't log in after it demanded to change my password for security during login, no longer asks security questions for recovery so stuck

I can't log into my sbcglobal.net account.

It thought my password was old or whatever and demanded I change it, so I did and then the trouble started as it wouldn't let me log in, then it wouldn't let me recover the account.

This was made before they demanded things like last names so I am unable to recover with the secret question answers which were the original method of recovery.

So I'm stuck in a loop unable to recover.

Too many sign-in attempts. To restore access, let’s make sure it’s really you. Care code 205.2

asks for billing zip and zip, i never added these.

Hi @dslar00p,

We completely understand your concern and would like to help. Let's get the assistance you require.

The Community Forums are a public support option where other users, and AT&T, will try and assist with high level support needs. This means we won’t be able to look into account specific concerns. To get the help you need for your unique issue, please review our Contact Us page [www.att.com/support/contact-us/], and choose the best option to reach out to us. You can call, chat, or reach out via social media, and we can review your specific issue and provide you support. If you feel your issue isn’t account specific, and can be answered generally, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to help.

Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums,

Tess, AT&T Community Specialist.

Yea there has to be a better more direct contact method than "just call", its just super inconvenient, we have digital communications for a reason.   This is a mistake of the management team, removing the secret questions to restore account access breaks things, it should have been predictable.

I know its a legacy email but that also means not every email is tied to a broadband package, its yahoo after all, so why would people be putting in personal information like that.
