my.yahoo.com not working with Google Chrome anymore. Works with Microsoft Edge.

Long time user of My Yahoo email. Originally started with Prodigy.net. Got bought out multiple times. Was AT&T Yahoo. The current window does show "Currently from AT&T / My Yahoo! so they are all connected.

I use Google Chrome as my browser. Yesterday I got logged out which happens every two weeks. I just log back in. However, it would not let me this time.

The tab shows the AT&T "earth" symbol and says, "Login Screen".

After typing in my user ID & password. The tab briefly shows "Logout Successful", then I get a screen saying:
"Something's gone wrong. We may be having trouble with your connection. Connecting your device to Wi-Fi could help fix the issue or try again later. If you were using an app, close this page. Otherwise, start over."

I then opened Microsoft Edge and tried logging in the same way. It opens without any issue. Therefore, I know my username and password is still correct.

I tried clearing cache, cookies, resetting chrome to defaults, making sure it was the latest version and even deleting the app, rebooting computer and reinstalling. Still get the same results. So why is Chrome no longer working with AT&T mail?

I also tried opening a tab for "Currently.com" which redirects to "Currently.att.yahoo.com". I still get the same results trying to log in there. So, the problem is with using chrome. Not where I start from.

Yes, I know I can just use Edge to view my mail, but I despise Edge and primarily only use Chrome. Please help.

As per my original message, I can log in using Microsoft Edge. Just not with Google Chrome. So I do not see how changing my password would make a difference. I know it is not a password problem.

As per my original message, I did try going directly to Currently.com and it also failed with Google Chrome.

That being said, I went ahead and tried Currently.com one more time. This time, it behaved a little different. It asked to send me an authentication code to my phone. I punched it in and was able to log in. I then went back to "MyYahoo" and refreshed and I am logged in again. So it did work this time. Not sure why it didn't before.

Thank you for your assistance.

I would suggest purging your cache/cookies/data for the att.com from your Chrome browser.  If you want confirmation that doing this should work, open the att.com site in a Chrome incognito window and see if it works then... if so, then yes, clear cookies for att.com and it should work in normal mode again.
