Need Secure Mail Key

My account user ID was temporarily locked today so I changed my password as per the instructions I received.  Now I can access on my webmail on my phone but I can't open it on my computer with my Outlook.  I saw on the forum that I needed a secure mail key in order to use my outlook.  I tried to follow the link provided but it takes me to a Direct TV page and none of the links mentioned on the instructions are on it.  There is nothing to do with emails on that page.

Can someone please help?

Thanks for reaching us @gracedel11.

We understand that you wish to access your email through outlook. Let's get the help you need.

To begin, clear your browser history, cookies and cache, and try to set up your Secure Mail Key correctly so that you can use Outlook with your AT&T email.

Post this if this is taking you to your Directv account. Just to be clear, do you have an active Directv account? In that event, it must be linked to your same account. We must first delink your account. After that, you will be able to log in directly.

Just let us know it goes, we're here to help!

Thank you.

Hi David,

I cleared my browser history, cookies and cache and still not able to sign in on outlook.  Your link for the secure key is taking me to an old inactive direct tv account.

Thanks for reaching us again @gracedel11.

We get it, and let us point you in the right direction for accessing your email via Outlook.

After reviewing your concern and trying to resolve through the Community Forums, it looks like you may need more account specific support. To assist you best, we encourage you to review our Contact Us page (https://www.att.com/support/contact-us/) to identify what method you’d prefer to reach out for this account level help. You can call, chat, or reach out via social media and we can review your specific issue and provide you support. We’re sorry we weren’t able to resolve your concern directly in the forums, but let us know if we can assist with anything else.

Thank you.

This doesn't give me the option for a secure key, the options are internet, direct tv and land line. All I need is to be able to get the secure key code.  Can you please De-Link my account as you stated above and see if that helps.

Also could you please provide a one time temporary password.  This was done once before when ATT locked out my account and I was able to get in with it.

We understand that you wish to get one time password.

The Community Forums are a public support option where other users, and AT&T, will try and assist with high level support needs. This means we won’t be able to look into account specific concerns.  Hence, we'd recommend that you review our Contact Us page (https://www.att.com/support/contact-us/) and select Internet and then scroll down to choose the best option to reach out to us.  You can call, chat, or reach out via social media and we can review your specific issue and provide you support.

Thank you.
