Not receiving emails in sbcglobal.net account

Hello,

A couple of organizations I've applied to have sent me emails but for some reason I have not received them. I am receiving other emails but not from them systems or their online application database. I have checked my junk/spam folder and clear my cache but no changes. I had one of them send it to a non-AT&T account and it works just fine. I do not have any email addresses blocked in my settings either. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

We can help you get assistance with the blocked emails, @af3.

You can email our Postmaster to request that the emails no longer be blocked. Email them at abuse_rbl@abuse-att.net.

Hello,

I will not be able to accept the answer provided because I followed the instructions and was unsuccessful. When I sent an email to the email address provided, I received a returned email titled "mail delivery subsystem" and the transcript details of the email stated "Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table", "user unknown" and "Error: no valid recipients".

Regards,

af3

Hello @af3,
We understand the gravity of not receiving mails. Let's work on a fix and find out what's causing this.

We recommend that you troubleshoot your email account, settings, and apps.

AT&T Mail account and settings

  • Check your email size. If your email is too big, it may not be sent.
  • Be sure you’re using the correct recipient email address. If not, you may get error messages like Failed Delivery or Problem Found - Message Not Sent.
  • Try signing out of your email account and signing back in.
  • Check your spam folder for missing emails.
  • Review your settings. Select the gear icon, then check:
    • Blocked addresses: Be sure you aren’t blocking addresses you want to get email from.
    • Filters: Are emails going to the correct folder?
  • Check if your account has been hacked. Your account may be compromised if you’re:
    • Missing emails
    • Receiving emails from your own email address
    • Getting complaints about spam coming from your email address
    • Seeing a display name that's different from the one you set up

Also feel free to Resolve email issues here!

We hope this information is helpful and thanks for reaching out to AT&T Community Forums!

This is what I got from my gmail about my sbcglobal email. I always check my SPAM when someone tells me to expect an email and it doesn't come through. My SBC email only blocks certain select emails. I don't know why.

The response was:

The recipient server did not accept our requests to connect.
