Old ATT.NET email troubles
None of these forum answers have helped me in my situation. I have an old AT&T email address (@att.net) and I know my user and password. Whenever I try to login with my email and password, that I know for a fact are the correct combination, the login screen reads "Unusual login activity" and prompts me to change my password. I follow the prompts and get to the security questions, but any answer I submit is denied and my account gets locked for 24 hours. It's insane that an ancient telephone company has issues with simple tasks such as switching email services. These kinds of problems are nothing new, but still frustrating. Definitely disappointing but not surprising in the least bit.
