recover old Email

To recover an old email account with AT&T, you can follow these steps:

1. Go to the AT&T website.
2. Select Forgot ID? > User ID & Password or Forgot Password?
3. Enter your contact email address.
4. If prompted, choose how you would like to receive your ID.
5. Enter your user ID that was sent to you.
6. Choose temporary password or security questions and follow the prompts.
7. If you chose temporary password, enter the password you received.
8. Create your new password.

I think they can only restore emails from the past 7 days. In your case, it's been 10 years now.

I will follow the steps that you posted. More work to do.
