Sbcglobal.net email account recovery

Lost access to my email account:

"Unusual sign-in activity. To keep your information safe, please reset your password.

Care code: 203.2 [FL001]"

Tried reset password option. However it asked for my e-mail (m***@sbcglobal.net) and last name. When I signed up I just put "E" as a last name and it won't take anything unless it's at least 2 characters.

Thanks for reaching us @axolotlsdy.

We see you want to regain access to your email. Let's get you the assistance you require.

  • The account is locked because of multiple sign-in attempts. This usually happens because of a typo or a forgotten password. It’s been locked for your protection, which prevents fraudsters from compromising the account. This is a soft lock that requires a 24-hour waiting period.
  • Once the 24-hour lock is activated, you should wait the 24-hour period.
    • Please reset your password after the 24-hour period has expired.
    • If you attempt to log in again during the 24h time period, the waiting time will restart to full 24 hours.

Also, we'd recommend that you check out this article to know more about the common error codes.

If you've any other questions, please feel free to write back. We're here to help!

Thank you.
