Spam addressed to me @Yahoo.com getting through to my @att.net inbox
I have an att.net email account (which I've had since prehistoric times). I do NOT have a yahooo.com account.
Yet every day my att.net inbox is flooded with spam addressed to me @yahoo.com. That's right, not @att.net, but @yahoo.com. How is that even possible? What's going on?
I've searched Yahoo's website in vain for some filter to block this misaddressed email. No help there.
Other facts: When I try to log into my account online, I keep getting told there were too many attempts so I have to go through a security routine to get access, even though I've change my password. Also, I use a Security Key on my PC to access the account through Outlook.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

Since the data theft... I have been blasted with Spam mail - in both my primary and secondary AT/ Yahoo mailboxes - with mail that is addressed to my email addresses followed by @gmail.com, @yahoo.com AS WELL AS TO "nonsense" email addresses that appear to be those of sales and solicitation websites/ email addresses, including "donotreply" and "info@" sites. Some do not even contain an "@" within the address. These garbage email addresses DO NOT contain either of my ATT email addresses before the "@". This would indicate that ATT/Yahoo is allowing these solicitations to come from their "partners" to ATT and on to me. Now... all of my passwords/ PINs were changed when I first learned of the data breach from an independent monitoring service (months ago)... so an account breach IS NOT the issue. FOLLOWING ALL OF THE REPORTING/ DETERENT STEPS LISTED ABOVE HAVE DONE NOTHING TO STOP THIS. These steps have also included forwarding each one of these pieces of trash to BOTH ATT departments. Results?? All that I have received from both the "abuse" department and the "privacy" department are SCRIPTED return emails that constitute nothing but denials of responsibility. I will be addressing this further...
