Stuck in a 902 Logout Error Loop

I recently upgraded my phone and SIM card under my husband's AT&T plan (keeping the same number I've had for years), and upon trying to log into my account on my mail app that has worked properly in the past after getting my phone finalized in its upgrade set up I have been locked into this 902 error loop where it states:

"Something's gone wrong

We may be having trouble with your connection. Connecting your device to Wi-Fi could help fix the issue or try again later.
If you were using an app, close this page. Otherwise, start over."
This happens regardless of being on mobile or desktop. I have already cleared the cache and tried a separate browser on my desktop, and even uninstalled the app on my phone in an attempt to hard reset it. None of it is fixing the issue, and I need access into my email as it is my main email account.  I have even attempted on a separate computer entirely, however when it gave me the option to get farther it would not take my authentication code that was sent to my phone.

Hi @EclipsedTurtle,

Thank you for contacting us on AT&T Community Forums! We're here to assist you with logging in your account.

If you're currently using the myAT&T app to log in to your account, here are some tips for signing in:

  1. Restart your device, then open the myAT&T app.
  2. Sign in with your user ID and password. Be sure to delete any IDs you’ve saved first.

If you are using a browser, delete cache and cookies and sign in again. We also recommend trying another browser as not all are compatible with AT&T

If you're still unable to log in, we'd suggest reinstalling the app:

  1. Delete the myAT&T app from your smartphone or tablet.
  2. Download the latest myAT&T app:
    • Go to http://sm.att.com/8bb7010a on your smartphone or tablet.
    • Or text myATT to 556699 from your wireless device. We'll send you a link, so you can download the app.
  3. Install the app, then open it and sign in.

We'd also suggest for you to make sure your device and the myAT&T app is updated to the latest version. We supported these OS versions:

  • iOS 12.1 or later
  • Android 7.0 or later

Please let us know if you're able to successfully login or you have any other questions or concerns.

Happy to assist!

I have the same problem logging into AT&T mail on my laptop.

I am stuck with the Error 902:

https://signin.att.com/dynamic/iamLRR/LrrController?IAM_OP=error&errorCode=902&appName=m40842&dotNetLogout=N

I have closed the browser.  I have used other browsers.  I am not using an app.  The message continues with:

"We may be having trouble with your connection. Connecting your device to Wi-Fi could help fix the issue or try again later."

My wi-fi is great - I can access every other website I try. Gmail works.  I can stream videos from YouTube.

I had this problem a short while ago and it mysteriously went away.

Now it's back.  It's my problem because I can't access my email accounts, but it's not caused by me.
