Unable to access any AT&T websites

I have tried to access my email using Currently mail but keep getting an error that "the connection has timed out.  An error occurred during a connection to oidc.idp.clogin.att.com." I also tried to access att.com, but when trying to sign in using the MY AT&T dropdown box I get the same message. I can access Support and other pages using att.com, but I can't sign in. Is there something wrong with att sign in? I've tried using Firefox and Microsoft Edge and get the same error messages. I can access both my email and att.com on my smartphone.

David, I thank you for your help.  The issue turned out to be my Gateway. Once I reset it, I was able to access my email and AT&T websites.

Thanks for reaching us @BabyDee.

We see you are unable to access AT&T websites. Let us assist you in gaining access to our website.

To begin with you may need to check the DNS settings. Typically, DNS settings should be set to obtain DNS information from the AT&T servers. In some situations, you may have to force DNS to resolve the issues, but below-mentioned settings are not the preferred ones.

Windows 11

  1. Right-click on the Start Menu.
  2. Choose Settings.
  3. In the Settings menu choose Network & Internet.
  4. Select the Connection type (ethernet, wireless, etc.).
  5. Click Edit next to DNS server assignment, verify Automatic (DHCP) is selected.
  6. Click Save.

Windows 10

  1. Right-click on the Start Menu.
  2. Click the Network Connections option in the menu.
  3. Any Network Connections available on that computer will display.
  4. Right-click on the connection that the customer is using (such as, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and so on) and select Properties.
  5. Double click Internet Protocol Version 4, or make sure that is the only option checked and select Properties.
  6. Ensure both Obtain an IP Address automatically and Obtain a DNS server address automatically are selected.
  7. Click OK.

Whatever Windows Operating system you use, ensure both Obtain an IP Address automatically and Obtain a DNS server address automatically are selected.

A bad connection can cause this type of error. Try restarting your gateway before doing so to see if it works.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to write back to us.

Thank you.
